Can you please provide more infos about the OS? Is it a self developed OS or something known?
I am also interested to know how many memory and space the Switch has as well which chip is used?

Hi - The OS is our own. I'm afraid we don't publish information on the chipset etc. at this time. Is there a specific reason you want to know?

I am just interested in those basic information to understand how powerful the hardware is? Also to be able to compare it with other Displays on the market. As a blogger and Youtuber i like to support Rithum and i already got those questions from people who a curious about Rithum Switch.
So is there a specific reason to keep it as a secret?

Hi - We don't currently publish that information. We prefer to compare based on things such as features, benefits, speed and reliability...not a CPU speed. Ultimately, it is not a valuable metric: You can have the most powerful processor in the world and the features can still be slow and poorly engineered. Equally, efficient software can squeeze every last cycle out of a processor.

Hi,
it's a valid point to say Rithum want to be compared on features. But to be honest currently most of the popular Switches on the market offers the same functionality or more. So where does Rithum see really unique features which justify the high price?
The quality is really brilliant but to get most out of the switch additional license cost are required. Therefore i asked eg. for more Tech Specs to understand where the high price comes from? I don't see that Rithum has included more features for the higher price. Hue and Sonos are still the only free plugins.
Before the re-branding from Viiolet to Rithum the switch costs almost half of the current price. Why this high price increase now?

Hi again,
It seems like your question is more about economics than about Rithum specifically. There are many things that affect pricing. Do you have a kit car, a Toyota, or a VW? Do wear clothes from Primark, Marks & Spencer, or Zara? Do you develop and load the firmware yourself, or do you want it to work out of the box? Do you want a British brand or a brand from the far east? Do you buy your food from Aldi, Tesco, or Waitrose? Do you use Philips Hue bulbs or Ikea bulbs? etc.
The new version of the product is also a thermostat, we haven't quite launched the features yet, it's coming very soon. Also, it was not half the price, that is incorrect. If you would like to discuss this further, please kindly reach out directly.
