  If the Smartswitch could appear in the SmartThings App as a buttons "thing", then any ST device, scene or automation could be triggered.
  For me this would enable smartblinds and smartcurtains that use ZigBee or Z-Wave to be integrated, and then the Smartswitch could control both electric and natural light.
