Athom Homey - Possible to use flow tags as button names
CompletedPossible to use Tags in flows as Scene/Button names.
- Then buttons names/descriptions can change if a scene is activated
Ex: Then one scene button can be named "Open windows screens" then change to "Stop window screens" when in motion and then change to "Close windows screens" when open.,
Buttons can then also be used as information screens as well.
Ex: Show Power rates, power usage etc etc.
If you try to use tags with existing flow card it will only show some hex code

We have implemented support for including logic variable tags in the label fields of the 'scene button pressed' trigger card in our 2.0 Rithum app for Homey and Homey Pro plugin. Note that only variable tags are supported, not tags from other sources. If you would like to test the beta release then please install the test version of the app from https://homey.app/en-gb/app/com.violet-ultra.smartswitch/Rithum/test/
Your switch will also need to be updated to the 3.2 beta release of firmware. To request the update, please submit a ticket at https://support.rithumhome.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new or send us an email at support@rithumhome.com and include your switch serial number(s) as shown in System > About. Thank you.

Great option. Leaves space for other buttons.

And.... possibility to show button text depending on time of day...

This would be super powerful. Homey has the support, but rithum doesn't render it properly. Would be great to see the status of my mower, temperatures, knowing if different modes are enabled or not.

The term variable tag makes me a bit confused. All tags are variables; does this mean that only logic varianbles such as true/false and numbers are supported?

Hi rutberg it means the variables that you add yourself and then appear in the 'Logic' section when selecting a tag. If you need to use other tags then you could add a logic flow to update your variables when other tags change. Hopefully these screenshots will help to illustrate:
