The Heatmiser plugin enables the Climate screen of Rithum to be used with Heatmiser thermostats connected to a Heatmiser Neo hub (Heating only, not heating + cooling).
Follow the instructions for adding a plugin to install the Heatmiser plugin.
Configuring the integration
When successfully installed, in the settings menu on Rithum Switch select Integrations > Add Integration > Heatmiser followed by Enter IP Address...
Enter the IP address of the Heatmiser Neo hub. Rithum Switch will then need an access token to be able to connect to your hub. You will be prompted to visit a web page like follows:
As instructed, visit the configuration web page at the URL displayed on the screen. The URL is of the form http://<Rithum IP address>/neotoken . The device used for this must be on the same local network as the Rithum Switch.
Note that you will see a warning that this is an insecure connection. However, the connection is purely within your local private network, between the browser device and Rithum Switch. No data is transferred out to the internet.
Obtaining the API access token
In the Heatmiser app, go to Settings > API:
Click the + button to add a new token:
Enter a name for the token, we suggest naming it 'Rithum', then click 'Generate Token':
You might then be asked to press the Connect button on your neoHub:
Your new API token should then be shown. Press the copy button on the right hand side of the token to copy it to your clipboard:
Sending the API access token to Rithum Switch
In the web page opened, paste the copied access token into the form and press "Send Token".
Rithum will display a message if connected successfully. You will then be able to select from your Heatmiser thermostats on the Climate screen.
