Loxone Release Notes

Requirements

• A Loxone Miniserver on the same network as Rithum Switch / Pro configured with Loxone Config V15+
• The Loxone plugin installed on Rithum Switch / Rithum Switch Pro
• Rithum minimum firmware version 4.4
• An Intelligent Room Controller block (for climate screen integration)

Current Capabilities

Integration

Each Rithum Switch / Pro integrates with one or more Loxone Miniservers via IP as an authenticated user (whether unique per switch or the same user across multiple switches). Integration is via persistent websocket and supports both HTTP and HTTPS.

Configuration is then primarily from the Rithum side, as with other integrations you can follow the Setup & Use guide.

Scenes Screen buttons (or sub scenes of group buttons)

Select from the following actions for rooms configured in Loxone:

• Toggle lights on/off
• Set a lighting mood
• Control blinds (Fully up, Fully down, toggle Up/Stop, toggle Down/Stop, cycle Up/Stop/Down/Stop)
• Execute a Loxone Scene
• Control switches (Virtual Inputs) - Turn on, Turn off & Toggle
• Control audio zones (Vol Up & Vol Down; Mute, Unmute & Toggle Mute; Play, Pause & Toggle Play; Previous & Next)

In addition to actions for rooms, actions can be selected for central objects Lighting Central, Shading Central & Audio Central

Levels Screen

Select rooms to include on the Levels screen where you can then control on/off & brightness at the room level or for individual circuits

Gestures

Select from the following room actions for the ’Standby screen hold’ gesture:

• Toggle lights on/off
• Toggle lights between off and a specified mood
• Cycle blinds Up/Stop/Down/Stop
• Execute a Scene configured in Loxone

Temperature

Pull current temperature from Rithum Switch to Loxone. The temperature input will need to be configured in Loxone Config as follows:

1. Download the temperature input template file attached at the bottom of this page.

2. In Loxone Config select 'Virtual Inputs' then 'HTTP Device Templates' on the menu bar:

Select 'Import Template...' then browse for and select the downloaded template file. 

3. Select 'HTTP Device Templates' again and now there should be a 'Rithum Temperature Input' option to select. Select this to add a new temperature input.

4. As prompted, edit the IP address (highlighted in the following screen shot) in the input properties to be the IP address of Rithum Switch (shown on the connected network settings screen on Rithum Switch):

5. Add the temperature input to a page to connect it to the Intelligent Room Controller for the required room as shown here:

Climate Screen

Rooms with an associated Intelligent Room Controller block will be available for selection on the Rithum Climate screen zones list:

When turning on power or pressing the '...' options button, select the required mode. Available modes (heating, cooling or both) will depend on those available in the system.

You will then be able to control heating/cooling via the Climate screen.

Note: The temperature unit setting in the Display settings menu will have no effect on this climate screen. Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature unit display depends only on the Miniserver configuration.

Limitations

• Levels screen control of RGBW circuits is on/off & brightness level only, the colour can’t be adjusted
• Configuration changes made in Loxone may take up to 1 minute before being reflected on Rithum Switch
